The new portal unifies application, decisioning and servicing in a single borrower-facing experience, allowing homeowners to move from paying their \u0438\u043f\u043e\u0442\u0435\u043a\u0430<\/a> to exploring refinancing or home equity options in one click.<\/p>\n

Tavant leaders sat down with \u0416\u0438\u043b\u044c\u0435\u041f\u0440\u043e\u0432\u043e\u043b\u043e\u043a\u0430<\/strong> to detail benefits for mortgage professionals, \u043f\u0440\u043e\u0444\u0435\u0441\u0441\u0438\u043e\u043d\u0430\u043b\u044b \u0432 \u0441\u0444\u0435\u0440\u0435 \u043d\u0435\u0434\u0432\u0438\u0436\u0438\u043c\u043e\u0441\u0442\u0438<\/a>, borrowers and all housing stakeholders.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sandeep Shivam \u2014 associate director of fintech at Tavant \u2014 described how AI agents sit atop the company\u2019s experience layer and connect via APIs.<\/p>\n

\u201cDepending on the list of functionalities that you have, or the areas where you have to explore things and analyze, it will automatically create [AI] agents, micro [AI] agents, fulfill the need, and then, when it comes to actual borrower engagement, provide everything to the front-end agent.\u201d<\/p>\n

The architecture also integrates with point-of-sale systems, loan origination systems (LOS)<\/a> and third-party vendors such as credit and income verification providers.<\/p>\n

Sundeep Mathur \u2014 vice president of fintech at Tavant \u2014 said that flexibility reflects the company\u2019s broader philosophy and allows integration with small and large lenders and real estate-facing platforms.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis approach allows us to integrate with large lenders who have proprietary LOSs,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s not a massive two-year project to implement our solution.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tavant leaders said the servicing portal already supports more than 400,000 borrowers nationwide.<\/p>\n

Key features include unified origination and servicing, a one-click path from servicing into a new loan application, 24\/7 AI-assisted self-service with human escalation, built-in \u0441\u043e\u0433\u043b\u0430\u0441\u0438\u0435<\/a> controls and operational efficiency gains <\/p>\n

According to the company, so far, features helped deflect more than 80% of routine servicing inquiries in current deployments.<\/p>\n

Real estate experience draws applause<\/h2>\n

Although the servicing portal is borrower-focused, Tavant also recently demonstrated a real estate portal experience powered by MAYA to an audience of nearly 1,000 \u043a\u0440\u0435\u0434\u0438\u0442\u043d\u044b\u0435 \u0441\u043f\u0435\u0446\u0438\u0430\u043b\u0438\u0441\u0442\u044b<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Shivam described the showcase, where a real estate professional could prompt the AI to generate a pre-approval letter instantly.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou go into the Realtor app, and the Realtor says to the agent, \u2018Hey, MAYA, generate me the pre-approval letter for Sam Johnson for $750,000.\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cMAYA checks and says, \u2018Yes, Sam Johnson is approved for $750,000. I can generate it.\u2019 Then, it immediately generates [the letter].<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s all happening with just one prompt to the [AI] agent.\u201d<\/p>\n

For real estate professionals, that speed could mean stronger client relationships and faster offer submissions in competitive markets.<\/p>\n

Because the platform unifies servicing and origination data, agents and loan officers can also receive signals when a past client begins exploring refinancing or \u0441\u043e\u0431\u0441\u0442\u0432\u0435\u043d\u043d\u044b\u0439 \u043a\u0430\u043f\u0438\u0442\u0430\u043b<\/a> options \u2014 if configurations allow.<\/p>\n

Shivam explained that the AI agent monitors borrower behavior within the servicing portal. When a borrower uses calculators to check second mortgage eligibility or refinance savings, that activity becomes a signal.<\/p>\n

\u201cBased on that (activity), it notifies the loan officer,\u201d he said, \u201cIt also knows if it has to create any marketing campaigns for the user, based on interactions.\u201d<\/p>\n

The result could be improved refinance recapture and repeat business, with real estate professionals and loan officers staying connected to past clients during servicing, the designers said.<\/p>\n

Measurable gains \u2014 faster applications<\/h2>\n

Early deployments suggest measurable efficiency gains \u2014 particularly in refinance scenarios.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of the big benefits is [reducing the] time taken to complete an application when a borrower has an offer, a servicing loan and looks to refinance,\u201d Shiviam said. \u201cThe time to complete that application has reduced by close to 33%, because we have a unified platform. It is able to get the data from from the servicing side and complete the application fast.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that early data also indicates improvements in pull-through rates and higher engagement with refinance offers.<\/p>\n

Compliance, transparency and production-ready AI<\/h2>\n

Mathur stressed that deploying AI in regulated mortgage and real estate environments requires robust safeguards. <\/p>\n

He spoke of lender-specific policies, procedures and processes in the AI\u2019s decisioning framework.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese [AI] agents need to be provisioned like people,\u201d Mathur said. \u201cThey need to exist as their own entity. What data are they pulling in to make their decision? What is their reasoning?<\/p>\n

\u201cAll of that has to be logged with the actions that the [AI] agent is doing on that loan. It has to be immutable. These logs cannot be just logs written to some file that somebody can manipulate. The auditor is going to come along and say, \u2018Okay, show me that this is sound.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Experience working with companies such as \u042f\u0431\u043b\u043e\u043a\u043e<\/strong> \u0438 \u041c\u0435\u0442\u0430<\/strong> has helped strengthen Tavant\u2019s AI governance of financial services, he added. <\/p>\n

Uniting stakeholders \u2014 and building better borrowers<\/h2>\n

Looking ahead, Tavant sees the technology as a bridge across lenders, servicers, real estate professionals and agencies such as \u0424\u0440\u0435\u0434\u0434\u0438 \u041c\u0430\u043a<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Mathur said recent conversations with Freddie have centered on borrower education and enablement. AI, he said, can provide judgment-free learning at any hour.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen the borrower is going through a hardship, before they pull the trigger on loan modification, they want to talk to a human,\u201d he said. \u201cBut what we\u2019re seeing is that prior to that, they want to log in at two o\u2019clock in the morning and educate themselves, so they don\u2019t need to have embarrassing conversations.<\/p>\n

\u201cMAYA can tell them all about what goes into a loan modification and what the different options are and go deeper. [Users can prompt], \u2018I don\u2019t know what you mean by a 40-year term,\u2019 or, \u2018What does that do to my principal?’\u201d<\/p>\n

By explaining terms, options and consequences in plain language, MAYA can help create more informed consumers, \u201cbuilding a better borrower,\u201d Mathur said.<\/p>\n
