Rory Golod has been named president of growth<\/a> \u0432 Compass International Holdings <\/strong>(CIH), the parent company of \u041a\u043e\u043c\u043f\u0430\u0441<\/strong>, \u041c\u0435\u0436\u0434\u0443\u043d\u0430\u0440\u043e\u0434\u043d\u0430\u044f \u043d\u0435\u0434\u0432\u0438\u0436\u0438\u043c\u043e\u0441\u0442\u044c Christie's<\/strong>, @\u0445\u0430\u0440\u0430\u043a\u0442\u0435\u0440\u0438\u0441\u0442\u0438\u043a\u0438<\/strong> \u0438 \u0412\u0435\u0437\u0434\u0435<\/strong> brands. In this newly created role, Golod will be focused on driving agent success across the company\u2019s unified technology platform.<\/p>\n

In an announcement on Monday, CIH said Golod will oversee efforts to help roughly 340,000 real estate professionals<\/a> across its brands grow their businesses on a single technology platform.<\/p>\n

\u201cMyself and my team are going to be leading the effort to bring the Compass technology platform <\/a>to all of our brands, which is the most important thing we are focused on as a company this year and next,\u201d Golod told \u0416\u0438\u043b\u044c\u0435\u041f\u0440\u043e\u0432\u043e\u043b\u043e\u043a\u0430<\/strong>. \u201cThis is important because not all of the agents in our portfolio of brands will be able to benefit from the massive productivity and client experience impact that they can get from being able to use our technology.\u201d<\/p>\n

Golod said the firm will spend 2026 focused on rolling the platform out to all of the agents who are part of the owned brokerage operation<\/a>, such as those at \u041a\u043e\u043b\u0434\u0432\u0435\u043b\u043b \u0411\u0430\u043d\u043a\u0435\u0440 \u0420\u0438\u044d\u043b\u0442\u0438<\/strong>, \u0421\u043e\u0442\u0431\u0438\u0441<\/strong> \u0438 \u041a\u043e\u0440\u043a\u043e\u0440\u0430\u043d<\/strong>, while 2027 will see all of the affiliates and franchisees onboarded to the technology platform.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to CIH, Golod\u2019s remit covers platform adoption, agent recruitment, mergers and acquisitions, corporate communications and coaching. The goal is to consolidate agents on CIH\u2019s AI-enabled tools to save time, streamline workflows and deepen client service at a time when margins are tight and transaction volumes remain below peak levels.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am focused on continuing to drive growth across all of our brands, both from agent recruitment and also M&A,\u201d Golod said to HousingWire. \u201cI am also focused on helping our existing agents grow their businesses and that is what the roll out of the technology platform for all of the brands is really about. We want to be the destination for agents who want to grow their businesses. Golod<\/a> has been with Compass since December 2014, holding several senior roles tied to the company\u2019s expansion. He previously co-led Compass\u2019s entire brokerage business, directed brokerage growth nationwide and served as chief of staff to Reffkin. He most recently served as Compass\u2019s president of growth and communications, a role he has held since April 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI was here in the earliest days, back when we were Urban Compass and we only had a very small handful of people and to see where we\u2019ve come as an organization is remarkable. It means everything to me to be a part of this journey,\u201d Golod said, in an interview with HousingWire. \u201cLooking back at the first 10 years, I believe we were setting the stage and building the company to set up for the next 10 years, so they can be even more incredible and spectacular.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

For brokerage leaders and team owners, the move underscores how large platforms are betting on tighter integration of disparate tools \u2014 from CRM and marketing to transaction management and AI assistants \u2014 to drive agent productivity and retention. In a post-commission-lawsuit-settlement landscape where agent value propositions are under more scrutiny, CIH is positioning unified technology and structured coaching as core levers for growth.<\/p>\n
