\u041d\u0430\u0441\u0442\u043e\u044f\u0449\u0435\u0435 \u043f\u043e\u0441\u0440\u0435\u0434\u043d\u0438\u0447\u0435\u0441\u0442\u0432\u043e<\/strong> is rolling out Leo 2.0, an AI assistant built into its proprietary reZEN platform that automates back-office work, marketing and lead generation for agents. The system \u2014 in beta with thousands of agents \u2014 represents what Chief Technology Officer Pritesh Damani <\/a>described as a fundamental shift in how technology should serve real estate professionals.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think this industry has technology right, it\u2019s backwards in many ways,\u201d Damani told \u0416\u0438\u043b\u044c\u0435\u041f\u0440\u043e\u0432\u043e\u043b\u043e\u043a\u0430<\/strong>. \u201cEvery time a broker says they\u2019re a technology brokerage, they have just bolted in something like five different tools that they license behind one single sign-on.<\/p>\n

\u201cI still believe we are probably the only brokerage that actually builds everything in-house, in a meaningful way where people actually use it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The technology is already yielding tangible results for early users.<\/p>\n

David Keener<\/a>, \u0433\u0435\u043d\u0435\u0440\u0430\u043b\u044c\u043d\u044b\u0439 \u0434\u0438\u0440\u0435\u043a\u0442\u043e\u0440 Premiere Group at The Real Brokerage<\/strong>, said his team has uploaded about 3,000 previously non-responsive leads into the system.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the last 30 days, it\u2019s had 1,992 conversations,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s booking tours for us and it\u2019s literally in the middle of 444 live conversations right now. We uploaded all our dead, non-responsive leads that we haven\u2019t talked to in over a year and it\u2019s resurrected them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leo 2.0\u2019s AI Relationship Manager analyzes client interactions and sentiment to identify prospects who may be ready to act. The platform also provides consumers with branded property-search tools through the company\u2019s HeyLeo<\/a> \u041f\u043b\u0430\u0442\u0444\u043e\u0440\u043c\u0430.<\/p>\n

Damani said the company\u2019s \u0442\u0435\u0445\u043d\u043e\u043b\u043e\u0433\u0438\u0438<\/a> philosophy starts with understanding what agents actually do each day.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you truly think about what AI is supposed to do, it\u2019s giving you your time back, and that\u2019s what we\u2019re focused on,\u201d he said. \u201cThe number one job [for agents] is to get new customers or to maintain current customers. So, the goal with Leo is to do that, to create new business for you.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am sure that at least 1% to 2% of people in every agent\u2019s database is either buying or selling right now, because that\u2019s just basic stats. They just don\u2019t know who they are.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Keener, the system has replaced his entire inside sales agent (ISA) staff.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is my ISA platform and it\u2019s working 24\/7,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s doing better than my ISAs because a lot of times we hire [buyers\u2019 agents]. There\u2019s a language barrier. There isn\u2019t one anymore. It tags these leads that it\u2019s talking to through text \u2014 alerting me to say, \u2018This one needs help right now.\u2019 This is stuff we were spending over $100,000 a year, and now it\u2019s gone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Controlled rollout <\/h2>\n

The company is managing the Leo 2.0 rollout carefully, not because the technology is unready, Damani said, but because of the computational costs involved.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I threw in all the agents on day one, we would probably spend a [over] $100,000 a day,\u201d he said. \u201cWe have thousands of agents using it right now, but we are very selective about how we let people in, how we roll things out, how we message people and how many messages it does on a daily basis.\u201d<\/p>\n

Keener said the system requires minimal input from \u0430\u0433\u0435\u043d\u0442\u044b<\/a> to function effectively.<\/p>\n

\u201cOnce the AI has a phone number, a first and last name, and some context, just a little bit of context, that\u2019s it,\u201d he said. \u201cThey say they\u2019re looking in Greensboro, North Carolina, for a three-bedroom, two-bath, and then it\u2019s going to send out [communication] on your behalf.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat could be something like, \u2018Hey, I saw these came up over the weekend. I\u2019m reaching out on behalf of Dave. He wanted to make sure you knew about these because they just hit the market.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Agents to build custom AI agents<\/h2>\n

Looking ahead, The Real Brokerage plans to launch what Damani called an agentic development environment (ADE) that will allow users to build their own AI agents.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe idea is similar to Claude or OpenClaw or OpenAI,\u201d he said. \u201cYou have this interface where you can write the agent and test it out. Imagine something like that built right inside of reZEN, so you can like build native agents right there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Damani said the company will likely launch a new AI agent every day over the next year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether it\u2019s putting furniture in an empty photo, landscaping your photographs that you took, processing a PDF and extracting information for you, it doesn\u2019t matter,\u201d he said. \u201cThere will be something there for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Keener also spoke of agent benefits through use of Leo Copilot, Real\u2019s AI assistant.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just opened up the chat window and said, \u2018Hey, my property\u2019s at 123 Main Street. I\u2019d like you to print a flyer because I\u2019m hosting an open house this weekend,\u2019\u201d he said. \u201cAnd in about two minutes, it printed me off something beautiful, slick and with everything about the home and the surrounding area.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt did it in two minutes \u2014 and I didn\u2019t have to go into a queue and get it three days later or four days later.\u201d<\/p>\n

Data as the strategic moat<\/h2>\n

Damani said The Real Brokerage has maintained a consistent strategy; building everything in-house to control the underlying data and infrastructure.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will build everything that creates a strategic moat for the brokerage,\u201d he said. \u201cIn order for people to build what we have, they have to build everything else that we build first. You can\u2019t just build the agentic part. You have to have all the data \u2014 the transaction data.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have to have all the signature products and you have to have the community. You have to have all of these things on which the agents sit on top of.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Leo 2.0, Damani said success metrics will include how many agents connect their CRM, how many trigger the agentic tools daily and how many consistently use the system.<\/p>\n

Keener \u2014 whose team joined Real in 2024 \u2014 said he initially had doubts about such a large investment in AI.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thought when they announced this last year that it was not a good use of our funds as a brokerage. I was a little upset by it,\u201d he said. \u201cBut I\u2019ve changed my tune 100% because of what [Damani has] been able to bring forward, to bring to fruition and seeing what it\u2019s already doing and the amount of benefit and value it\u2019s providing to every agent. It\u2019s insane.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018Six months away\u2019 from major automation<\/h2>\n

Damani predicted that AI will fundamentally change most real estate processes within the next year \u2014 but emphasized that the agent\u2019s role in human relationships will remain essential.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe trust and the relationships that the agents have with their customers are the most important part in real estate,\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s because when you\u2019re making a million-dollar purchase or a half-million-dollar purchase, whatever it is, or $3 million purchase, most people don\u2019t know what they\u2019re doing. AI just spits out how you should feel about it. It\u2019s not going to actually solve the problem.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything that feels like it should be automated will be automated. I do think we\u2019re six months away from like 80% of the processes being completely automated. But that doesn\u2019t diminish the role of the Realtor. The Realtors will have more time for their customers, and further emphasize the value they create.\u201d<\/p>\n

Keener drew a historical comparison to describe the significance of the industry\u2019s current tech transition.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like living in the 1800s when they first turned on electricity,\u201d he said. \u201cThe first time you flip that switch and your house lit up or you were able to turn on a radio, you never wanted to go back. It wasn\u2019t even a consideration to move into a house without those capabilities. <\/p>\n

\u201cReal has turned on the electricity at a brokerage, and no other brokerage has these capabilities. We\u2019ve looked at them all. They\u2019ve turned the lights on, and agents aren\u2019t going to leave.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
