Hallmark Will Be Offering 250 New Ornament Designs This Holiday Season

The holiday season may be months away, but it’s never too early to start planning your tree theme(s).

Don’t look now, but Christmas is just over six short months away. You may want to swap out that summery cocktail you’re sipping while lounging poolside and warm up the hot chocolate because Hallmark’s Keepsake Ornament Premiere of over 250 new designs is here. A tradition going back 50 years that includes over 10,000 unique ornaments, Hallmark’s Christmas Collectibles kick off the holiday season long before you can feel a chill in the air—but we’re not mad about it.

This is big news for fans of Hallmark collectible ornaments, who wait impatiently to see what new creations are introduced for every holiday season. With designs that include beloved Peanuts characters, figures with animatronic light and sound, iconic movie characters, and adorable puppies, collectors are poised to pick up their favorite new decorations and plan their tree theme.

Hallmark’s social media followers are excited about the newest collection, to say the least.

“I’m so excited. I always get Peanuts ornaments, mini ornaments, and almost anything animated,” one comment under an announcement post reads. This is my Super Bowl, and I am ready.”

On TikTok, @caseys.hallmark.tucson shared a sneak peek of a few of the animatronic designs, including an “It’s a Small World” ornament. “So exciting! I can’t wait to pick up my #wishlist! It’s a small world looks so good!” one viewer commented.

“Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments serve as a special tradition to bring people together and celebrate favorite memories or milestones, but they’re also always evolving,” said Gregor Benedetti, Hallmark Keepsake artist. “This year, we’re excited to kick off a first-in-series 12 Days of Christmas ornament beginning with an intricate Partridge in A Pear Tree papercraft ornament. Next year, the series continues with—you guessed it—two turtle doves.” 

Gamers will love the original Xbox console, which features the theme song from Halo: Combat Evolved. Fans of The Big Lebowski will want the official “Dude” ornament, which includes catchphrases from the movie. If superheroes are a big deal in your house, grab a Batman ornament and hang it near the Joker for a good and evil duo that will never get old.

Hallmark is also adding to the excitement of the Keepsake Ornament Premiere with a new ShowToppers collection. ShowToppers make an ordinary tabletop tree extraordinary with ornaments that put on a delightful light and sound show. Start a collection of vintage-inspired designs, Disney characters, and holiday movie favorites for personalized trees to feature in smaller spots around your home.
