While I love to shop, the item that I simply can’t stop buying is a candle. My collection is now at approximately 30 and counting, and while I’m showing no signs of slowing down my love of candles, I recently found a particular fall scent that doubles as decor and is my new go-to, and it’s from our BHG x Walmart line.
I was recently sent the Better Homes & Gardens Salted Coconut and Pumpkin-Scented Two-Wick Candle at Walmart, and as a decor minimalist, it’s the first seasonal piece in my home, so I immediately displayed it in my entryway. Not only does the candle smell sweet without being overpowering, it comes in a luxe, pumpkin-shaped clear glass jar with a matching stem lid that blends in with any home aesthetic, and it’s just $11. I love it so much, I keep lighting it over my other candles.

I love filling my home with the smell of pumpkin this time of year, and this candle combines the fall fragrance with warm coconut that gives off hints of vanilla. Along with the scent I chose, the pumpkin candle collection has four other options, each with its own jar color: farm apple pumpkin in a deep red jar, leaves and acorn in a blue jar, pumpkin snickerdoodle in orange, and warm leathered amber in Halloween-ready black. The colors are all so pretty, I’m going to stock up on other colors.
The candle has two wicks in hand-poured paraffin wax, which easily fills my space with a subtle scent that isn’t too strong. It has notes of ground cinnamon, allspice, gingered clove, coconut, mahogany, and crushed lavender that perfectly balance and complement each other. Plus, the burn time is 40 hours, which will last me through most of the season.
