Not to scare you, but spooky season is upon us. Now, we know what you’re thinking: It’s July, much of the country is in the midst of a brutal heat wave, and we’re so far away from fall that Halloween is nothing more than a jack-o’-lantern floating off in the distance. Well, that’s not quite true—at least not at HomeGoods.
The holiday may be more than three months away, but HomeGoods is already stocking up on some on-theme decor so you can get started early. In a video posted to Instagram, creator @steffy took a trip to the store and showed off pumpkin towels and placemats, spooky tablecloths, ghost throw pillows, Disney Halloween mugs, candle holders, and more.

“Don’t mind me, just losing my mind in the store by myself,” the creator wrote, adding that even though it’s fully summer, she can’t help but grab the fall pieces. It’s also stocked with full-sized plushies, pink skull blankets, ghost throw pillows, and so much more, according to a TikTok with nearly 650,000 views, nearly 65,000 likes, and over 400 comments expressing enthusiasm for the early drop.

Based on the assortment, shoppers are already deeming this year’s spooky season “Pinkoween,” which is exactly what you think it is—Halloween, but make it pink. One video on Instagram shows off all of the Pinkoween goodies available at HomeGoods, like a spooky pink cake.
“I’m so excited for all the pink Halloween goodies,” one person commented under the video. “It’s time.”

Creators aren’t the only ones thinking pink this season—professionals are in agreement, too.
“Halloween is my favorite time of year, but traditional orange and black doesn’t go well with my very pink decor,” Keiko Lynn, a featured finder at HomeGoods said over email. “Instead, every year I shop for Halloween at HomeGoods to grow my pink Halloween collection, which complements my current style while adding a cute but spooky twist to it. I love the idea of taking traditionally spooky elements like skulls, bats and ghosts and switching them up with pink hues.”
