Magnolia Table Will Finally Start Serving Dinner—and We Got a Sneak Peek at the Menu

All of the dishes come from Joanna’s three cookbooks, and everything looks absolutely delicious, of course.

If you know Chip and Joanna Gaines (and we know you do), you probably know their company, Magnolia, and their Waco, Texas, destination, the Silos. The Silos is home to several shops—including the newest, The Art of Entertaining—and a few dining options. We’re partial to Silos Baking Co. and its incredible cupcake offerings, but the star of the Chip and Jo–adjacent dining scene is decidedly Magnolia Table, a sit-down restaurant a short drive from the Silos property.

Since its opening in 2018, the flagship Magnolia Table location has served breakfast, lunch, and brunch, with service stopping at 3 p.m.—but starting September 20, 2024, Magnolia Table will finally start offering dinner service.

While that September 20 date is still a bit off, Magnolia announced the full dinner menu on September 3—and shared it with Better Homes & Gardens to help spread the word.

The Magnolia Table Dinner Menu

All of the dishes on the new Magnolia Table dinner menu are from Joanna’s three cookbooks, Magnolia Table; Magnolia Table, Volume 2; and Magnolia Table, Volume 3. Fans already know how each of these cookbooks is a labor of love from Joanna, filled with recipes and anecdotes on her personal connection to each dish. The dishes brought to life at the Magnolia Table restaurant have the same meaning, and classics from the cookbooks (and the Gaines household) like Honey Butter Layered Biscuit Bites and Becki’s Mac & Cheese play starring roles on the new dinner menu.

“I love to eat all kinds of food, but in all honesty if you told me I could have only one thing every day for the rest of my life, it would be mac and cheese,” Joanna has said previously of the Becki’s Mac & Cheese dish. “I first had this recipe, which has become my favorite, at my friend Becki‘s house. Her family has become a part of our own, and she knows just how much I love mac and cheese. It is become a tradition of ours that every time we join her family for dinner at their house, she makes this side for us. It’s simple and creamy enough to please all the kids, while the blend of cheeses and optional crispy panko topping makes it feel interesting to adults.”

The menu includes a full range of courses and dishes, including appetizers, soups, salads, shareable plates, main dishes, a kids menu, and seasonal and classic desserts. There’s a drink menu, too, of course, that includes seasonal and craft cocktails (including a mocktail!), wine, and beer. Dinner service at Magnolia Table in Waco, Texas, will begin on September 20, just in time for the beloved Silobration event on the Silos property, which will take place from October 10 through 12, 2024. Dinner is served on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Reservations can go quickly, so if you’re planning a trip to Waco, be sure to plan ahead to nab a seat at the Magnolia Table for dinner.
