Shoppers Didn’t Realize How Much They Needed This Mattress Vacuum Until They Saw the Amount of Dust It Sucked Up From the Bed

Have you ever heard of a mattress vacuum cleaner? Yep, me neither. That was until I visited my neighbor during one of her fall cleaning fits. Now I have to admit, this friend has far higher cleaning standards than I do myself (with two kids, two dogs, and a husband at home), but when she came to the door with this handheld, space-aged gadget, I just had to ask.

It turns out, this nifty little vacuum loosens and removes 99.97 percent of dust, dirt, and other small particles hidden on mattresses. Plus, it doubles as a spot vacuum and can clean pillows and clothing, too. (No need for a lint brush!) After witnessing this cleaner in action, I was honestly a little envious, as I knew it could take care of my pet hair woes. So, I immediately went home to search Amazon for a sale on something similar, and here’s what I found.

Hersven Handheld UV Mattress Vacuum Cleaner

Hersven’s Handheld UV Mattress Vacuum effectively deep cleans and purifies mattresses, bed pillows, cloth sofas, carpets, and other fabric surfaces. Its HEPA filtration system captures particles as small as 0.3 microns, and larger particles are captured in its 500-milliliter, large-capacity, leak-proof dust box.

The way it works is unique. First, the pulsation pads vibrate at about 12,800 times per minute to loosen hidden debris on the mattress. Next, 12 kPAs of strong suction power deep cleans the layers of the mattress. Finally, the purple UV light sanitizes the entire surface, ensuring a good-as-new mattress, especially for allergy sufferers.

One Amazon shopper explained that the difference between a handheld canister vac and this mattress vac is that the rotating brushes of a regular vacuum do not work on a mattress. But the beater pads on the Hersven work to dislodge hidden dust and mites before sucking them up. “The amount of debris I got out of the filters after working a mattress for 15 minutes or a bedspread for 20 minutes was unexpected and surprised me,” they shared. It was “almost disturbing at first seeing how much was hidden.”

With a 13-foot cord, this vacuum allows you to fully navigate the perimeter of your bed with any limitations. And the wired design lets you clean for a longer time without the hassle of a dead battery or weakened suction. Better yet, the two-part filter and dust box are easy to clean—just run them under the faucet in your kitchen sink. (Just make sure to air dry the filter before using it again.)

Another five-star reviewer attested to the vacuum’s performance, calling it their “holy grail.” “It is extremely easy to use—picks up dog hairs as well as the unseen’ mites. I use it on my comforter, blanket, and all the mattresses and upholstered furniture in my home. It is easy to clean, and I clean it after each use,” they shared.

Well, for a cleaning tool I’ve never even heard of, this mattress vacuum sure packs a punch. And at $70 (and 37% off), I think I’ll get one for my own home and rest easy knowing my mattress and bedding are cleaner than ever before. As an added bonus, I’m hoping it helps with my son’s dust and pollen allergies. Crossing my fingers, and optimistically hopeful.
