Most recently listed for a whopping $74 million, the English country-style estate spans 28,000 square feet, with 8 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms. It was designed by Richard Landry, the same “Megamansion King” who built stately homes for some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment, including Wayne Gretzky, Tom Brady, Mark Wahlberg, and Sylvester Stallone (whose Landry-designed home is now owned by singer Adele).

Minutes from Boston, in the coveted Country Club section of Brookline, Massachusetts, a remarkable architectural gem has recently resurfaced on the market with a hefty price tag.
The sprawling Grand Georgian Revival Estate, priced at a whopping $24.5 million, is currently the second most expensive home for sale in the popular Boston suburb and boasts a timeless architecture that stands as a testament to exquisite craftsmanship and a historic legacy that stretches back to its designer, William Truman Aldrich.
And its stately exterior will make a lot more sense when you learn that Aldrich (who was also the brother-in-law of John D. Rockefeller) trained at both the MIT School of Architecture and Planning and at the École Des Beaux Arts in Paris.

And it makes the most of its secluded, lush location with its manicured English gardens, sitting areas, and swimming pool surrounded by tall pines, oaks, Japanese maples, and perennials in bloom.
Craftmanship and timeless detail work define the estate — both inside and out
The magazine-worthy estate was built with quality in mind, and its hallmarks are craftsmanship and timeless detail work.
Boasting elegant formal spaces, there’s plenty to love about the ultra-private residence, including its thermostatically controlled wine room and cellar, parlor, double-sided fireplace connecting the kitchen’s breakfast area to the living room, and large mudroom (with dog wash station).

We didn’t want to include this one, as it’s not located in the US but rather across the border, in Canada. But since it’s so incredibly lavish it could easily play the role of the royal palace on Bridgerton, we just had to give it a quick shout-out.
The iconic Schitt’s Creek mansion that the fictional Rose family once called home in the hit TV series, a sophisticated and opulent abode with Versailles-worthy interiors meant to highlight the main characters’ incredible wealth and steep fall from grace, is known in real life as La Belle Mansion — and it’s one of Toronto’s most recognizable residences.
It’s also one of the city’s priciest and has been floated on the market at several price points over the years. It’s currently listed for 17,800,000 CAD (roughly $13 million US).
