Trader Joe’s Is Now Selling Mini Mocha Latte Chocolate-Covered Pretzels

Trader Joe’s is back with another new hit product for shoppers to enjoy. In fact, this is a sweet treat that’s been much anticipated by many Trader Joe’s fans—because customers themselves got to help select the flavor. As of July 29, Trader Joe’s stores across the country are stocking a new spin on the beloved chocolate-covered pretzel: Mocha Latte Pretzels.

You might have seen a few other limited-time flavors of Trader Joe’s sweet mini pretzels, like the trendy purple ube-flavored pretzels that hit shelves earlier this summer. Now, the chain is rolling out the red carpet for another mini pretzel flavor to join store aisles, after giving its opinionated customers the final say in which pretzel flavor the store should stock next.

In February, Trader Joe’s offered the following four flavors for voters to choose from: Mocha Latte, Chocolate Donut, PB&J, and Birthday Cake. After thousands of responses were totaled, there was a clear winner: Mocha Latte, with 32% of the votes. Trader Joe’s got to work on the winning flavor, and the mocha latte chocolate-covered pretzel is finally ready to make its appearance in stores. 

The mini pretzels are covered with white candy coating for a sweet vanilla flavor, with specks of ground coffee beans for the much-anticipated mocha flavoring. Trader Joe’s culinary experts finished them off with a dark chocolate drizzle to create the perfect mocha latte flavor. You’ll find these pretzels in stores for just $2.99 per bag, but they won’t be sticking around forever.

Sometimes these limited-time flavors make an encore, but they often sell out quickly, so don’t wait to get your hands on the mocha flavor. There’s no telling just how long they’ll be found on shelves, but we certainly hope to see them last through summer.
