With searches for “zen house” up 405%, it’s clear the goal is to find inspiration to balance comfort, style, and tranquility. And what better way to set the tone than to switch up the colors in your space?

The Top-Searched Shades on Pinterest This Fall
If you’re going for a total refresh, start by trying out a new color palette. Pinterest users are gathering inspiration for their interiors, with the term “green home decor” leading the way with an impressive 2,670% increase in searches.
And not far behind is “sage and blue color palette,” up 570%. Sage green has been trending for a while, and blue is a versatile classic. These two shades together are a natural fit: They bring the calming aspects of the outdoors to any decor style, whether your aesthetic leans cottagecore or more contemporary.

Paint companies are also seeing blue when it comes to color trends.
