Anna-Marie Ellison is on the move again, this time joining the leadership team at John R. Wood Christie’s International Real Estate.
In a post on LinkedIn on Wednesday, the firm announced that Ellison would serve as its new vice president of sales. According to the brokerage’s announcement, Ellison will be supporting the firm’s offices across Southwest Florida, where she will be focused on helping agents and brokerage staff drive growth.
“We’re thrilled to have her on our leadership team as we continue to grow and invest in our people,” the firm’s post stated.
For her part, Ellison has said she is “looking forward to doing meaningful work” with the team at John R. Wood.
“This move represents an exciting next chapter for me,” Ellison told HousingWire. “John R. Wood has a culture rooted in integrity, market expertise and people-first leadership, and I’m energized by the opportunity to help support and grow the next generation of leaders within the organization.”
In a post on her website ConsultWithAME on Wednesday, Ellison said the decision to move to John R. Wood came after feeling a “steady pull toward what’s next,” over the past year.
According to Ellison she was drawn to John R. Wood by the people and the company’s vision for support agents. In 2024, John R. Wood closed 4,704 transaction sides for a total of $4.80 billion in sales volume, according to RealTrends Verified data. This performance earned the firm the No. 38 rank in the nation for sales volume in the 2025 RealTrends Verified Rankings.
This is Ellison’s second move within the last 18 months, having joined the leadership team at Alabama-based ARC Realty in August 2024.
“I loved my time at ARC,” Ellison wrote in a post on her website. “The people, the growth, the trust, the relationships. That chapter mattered and I’m deeply grateful for it.”
In her role at John R. Wood, Ellison says she will be focused on investing in the firm’s people, building strong systems and creating clarity for agents and consumers.
Prior to joining ARC Realty, Ellison had spent nearly 18 years at ERA King Real Estate, where she began her career as an agent in 2006 before working her way up to the firm’s chief operating officer in 2022.
