Aldi’s Genius Hammock Chair Is Just $50

Run, don’t walk, to your nearest Aldi location to nab these camping essentials when they hit stores on June 12.

It’s reached the time of year when all we want to do is go on vacation. But it’s getting increasingly pricey to jet off to a far-away destination, which can make the experience less than relaxing. That’s what makes camping so ideal: It’s affordable, allows you to connect with nature, and you can make it as active or leisurely as you want. But if you want to have a fun, chill time on your next outdoorsy trip, you need to come prepared—and Aldi has you covered.

The discount grocery store is offering plenty of must-haves for a successful camping trip this month, including a hammock chair, standup cooler, smokeless fire pit, and more.

You can snag the chair, which retails for $50, in blue or green. It has a massive, oversized padded seat that you can actually get comfortable in. Plus, since it’s a hammock, you can rock back and forth while taking in your surroundings. Because the feet are anti-sink, you won’t have to worry about ending up on the ground.

For just $30, you can get the most necessary camping item: The Adventuridge Pop-Up Two-Person Tent. This tent isn’t available at Aldi stores until June 12, but once it does hit shelves, you’ll want to secure one ASAP. Most tents go for at least twice that price, and they aren’t nearly as cute. 

Also available on June 12, Aldi is selling the Adventuridge Stand Up Cooler for just $17 and the Adventuridge Tabletop Smokeless Fire Pit for $30. What makes the latter so appealing for the summertime is you won’t be as at risk for starting a forest fire, and you can fire up some s’mores or hot dogs in a cozy atmosphere without smoke burning your eyes.

Once you’re set up with all you need for a comfortable camping adventure, you can browse the grocery aisles at Aldi to gather the ingredients for a spectacular outdoor meal. Some of our favorite camping food hacks include filling up old condiment bottles with pancake batter, wrapping your meals in foil and heating them over the fire, taking advantage of roasting sticks, baking muffins in orange peels, and so much more.
